# How it works

> Squad selection, transfers, scoring, and weekly competition flow.

* **Squad Selection**:
  * Create a 15-player squad within a budget.
  * Include 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, and 3 forwards.
  * Max 3 players from a single real-life team.
* **Starting Lineup**:
  * Choose 11 players for each game week in various formations (e.g., 4-4-2, 3-5-2).
  * Ensure a minimum of 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders, 2 midfielders, and 1 forward.
* **Transfers**:
  * 1 free transfer per week, with unused transfers carrying over up to 2.
  * Additional transfers cost points (e.g., -4 points per extra transfer).
  * Use Wildcards for unlimited transfers during a game week.
* **Scoring Points**:
  * Points are based on real-life performance: goals, assists, clean sheets, and saves.
  * Bonus points are awarded for exceptional player performances.

* **Leagues and Competitions**:
  * Compete in General or Private tournaments (later).
  * Weekly deadlines apply for transfers and lineup changes.
